Three things we are looking forward to about TedxWinchester

In-person events are back!  Many of us are probably very familiar now with watching music concerts, theatre performances and sports games live from the comfort of our sofas at home. The norm for many people during the lockdown.

In-person events are back!

Many of us are probably very familiar now with watching music concerts, theatre performances and sports games live from the comfort of our sofas at home. The norm for many people during the lockdown. However, as the lockdown restrictions have eased, it is great to see light at the end of the tunnel and the return to live, in-person events.

We are very excited to announce our partnership with TEDxWinchester! Hosted at The University of Winchester on 5th April 2022.

This year’s theme… Ideas into action.  The day offers a range of inspiring and thought-provoking speakers who will be bringing their ideas worth sharing. It is an opportunity to bring together a community of friendly, open-minded people, who all share a spirit of curiosity.

An inspiring lineup

One of the speakers featured is Samantha Kingston, Tech Co-founder and community champion. She will be sharing how she used VR and immersive tech to create a 360 film, which helped her journey to become a community champion.

Local entrepreneur and creative genius behind I Am Super Capes, Claudia Beard, will be speaking from her background in parenting, entrepreneurship, creativity and resilience.

In addition, Simon Harmer; former soldier, double leg amputee, long-distance open water swimmer will be sharing his inspirational story alongside his exciting new idea that’s worth sharing. Any guesses?

We are looking forward to learning from those speaking (view the full speaker lineup here) and connecting face-to-face with other attendees as we spark ideas together.

Corridor Conversations

There can be joy found in being able to strike up a conversation with a total stranger in line for coffee, or while waiting for a session to start. Here at Steadfast Collective, we value the time we get the opportunity to meet new and exciting people.

We look forward to seeing you there! (get tickets here)
