We created the Digital Community Leaders Report to be a data-backed handbook for building the foundations of your brand's community.

70% of communities we surveyed saw growth over the last 12 months, and we know those businesses are growing, too.

Other metrics we dive into include;

  • Community Growth

  • Biggest pain points

  • Community Purpose

  • What are other community managers measuring

  • Funding

  • Participation

  • C-Suite involvement

And much more

In this book, we present all the data and expert insights from Richard Gott, Michelle Goodall, Vincent Boon, Pete Heslop, Kian Bakhtiari, Rosie Sherry, Matt Sullivan, Laura Roth, Nicole Saunders, Blaise Grimes-Viort, and Jan Carlyle. We've also included frameworks such as: Community Archetypes Ecosystem of Impact, Community Participation Ladder, Community-first Culture Nexus.

Since our last survey in 2021, the landscape across digital communities has changed as we've worked through recovery.

Now, in 2023, as we've dared to reimagine, the report shows positive signs of growth in digital communities. As organisations that work with communities on a daily basis, Steadfast Collective and Autumn Live are pleased to be bringing conversations like these to the forefront. We hope this data and report will enable you to understand what is happening within digital communities and those of you who are leading them.

In this year's survey, we collected data from 66 respondents.

Ten experts have analysed the data and responded.

The year ahead will continue to challenge us and provide excellent opportunities for gathering, connection, and our communities. Please speak to us if you'd like to discuss how we can work with you to enable greater connection.
