Revolutionising the leisure vehicle market

We collaborated with the National Caravan Council to create Find My Leisure Vehicle, a platform born during the pandemic when their popular leisure vehicle shows were paused. The website was designed to connect potential buyers with dealers and manufacturers, offering unbiased information on the latest vehicles. Built using Laravel and Statamic, the site features advanced filtering and comparison tools, attracting over 250,000 visitors annually with a 97% engagement rate. The platform's success has led to its evolution into a standalone brand, strengthening the Council’s position in the leisure vehicle market.

We had the pleasure of working with the National Caravan Council to develop a new product called Find My Leisure Vehicle. Find My Leisure Vehicle was born during the COVID-19 pandemic when the National Caravan Council's leisure vehicle twice-yearly shows were put on pause. The shows attracted many visitors and allowed the NCC to support their members by connecting them to an eager market. Whilst these shows were not happening, the idea of Find My Leisure Vehicle was to help and support budding leisure vehicle owners to find unbiased information about the latest leisure vehicles on the market to inspire a healthier leisure vehicle and lifestyle industry. The goal was to connect these viewers with dealers and manufacturers in the leisure vehicle market to support market growth and member prospecting.

We worked with the senior NCC and Find My Leisure Vehicle team to establish clear goals and direction for the new product. Initially starting as a supporting star to the shows, the website needed to tie in heavily to their branding style and layouts. Our UX/UI design team worked with their senior team to establish clear user flows through the website, elevating highly detailed filtering options and comparison capabilities for the vehicles.

The final deliverable was a powerful website built using Laravel and Statamic that allowed for showcasing thousands of leisure vehicles with different features, specification information, and pricing information, as well as how users and viewers can connect to manufacturers to enquire and discover more. The website attracts over 250k+ visitors annually and has an average engagement rate of 97%. The product's success has meant it has evolved into its own brand. Now that the shows have reopened, the website is also used to inspire visitors to have a refined approach to finding the products and vehicles they're interested in by quickly curating a list of products to view upon their visit.

It is a pleasure to continue working with the Find My Leisure Vehicle team as we now focus on improving the website, giving it its own brand voice and experience separately from the shows. Their team particularly liked working with Steadfast Collective due to our strategic approach to the design and technical know-how, which allowed Find My Leisure Vehicle to act to the highest and most modern standards. The Find My Leisure Vehicle website has enabled the National Caravan Council to be seen as an active player in modern progression in the digital space, supporting their community of members. Find My Leisure Vehicle now holds a strong market position within the Leisure Vehicle directory space.
