How We Helped OCS Reposition After a Major Merger

In August 2023, Steadfast Collective partnered with OCS as their global digital partner to support 15 multi-sites worldwide following their merger with Atalian Servest Facilities Management. The goal was to create a unified brand identity across diverse regions, enhancing their market presence post-merger. Working closely with OCS’s leadership, we developed a strategic website that reflects their values and service excellence. Launched globally in January 2024, the new site has significantly increased enquiries, traffic, and visits while meeting eco-friendly standards. Our ongoing partnership continues to support OCS’s digital growth across the globe.

In August 2023, we began our partnership with OCS as their global digital partner, supporting 15 multi-sites worldwide and connecting with the diverse cultures they serve. Following OCS’s merger with Atalian Servest Facilities Management, they needed a new website to unify these brands and rejuvenate their presence in the facilities management market.

OCS required a website that communicated their unified brand while showcasing their strength and capability on a global scale. The challenge was to create a consistent brand identity across 15 sites, spanning the UK, Ireland, Australia, Thailand, Bangladesh, and more. Each site needed to clearly convey OCS’s services to both public and private sectors while maintaining a cohesive look and feel.

To achieve this, we worked closely with Dan Barber, Group Chief Communications Officer, the wider C-Suite team, and executives across Europe and APAC. Our goal was to reset and renew their market perception and reinforce their position in the market post-merger. The new website had to inspire confidence in prospective clients by reflecting OCS’s values and commitment to service excellence.

Collaborating with Dan, we conducted user research, surveys, and interviews to understand the needs of different users. We developed a strategic plan for user flows and conversion points tailored to various audiences. The technical requirements for a multi-site platform were carefully mapped out, including a globally accessible asset library powered by a CDN for high performance.

By November 2023, we delivered a high-performing website with soft colours, clean lines, and user-friendly design. Launched globally in January 2024, the website led to a significant increase in enquiries, traffic, and overall visits. The eco-friendly design was also praised for meeting low-carbon standards.
