Our CMX Experience 2025

CMX Summit is where the brightest community leaders gather to learn, share and meet.
Folks who work in marketing teams, support roles, business operations, and leadership roles for various global brands have one underlying thread: they’re building community for their members, staff or around their brand.
Held in the Fox Theatre in Silicon Valley, the CMX annual conference kicked off with Jono Bacon and ended with Brian Oblinger - in the middle was a mix of panels, hot-takes and keynotes, all delivering to-the-point ideas on how to build better communities.

Over the coming weeks, I’ll dive into a few of these talks and explore them further.
This was also my CMX debut, a chance to take to the stage myself. I shared how my upbringing in hospitality has influenced how I see the world and the real-world lessons we can take from hospitality into web design.
The conference was packed with excellent talks and ideas - but it was the people that made it worth the visit.
A chance to meet new folks and re-visit old connections who are all championing each other. A chance to share horror stories, laugh at bad jokes and sing karaoke.
At Steadfast Collective, we take conferences seriously. It’s not something we undertake on a whim but carefully consider.
It’s always our goal to learn something new, meet new people and share that knowledge with our team and clients.
Later this year, we’ll also be at;
June: Laravel Live UK & Code Europe
July: Laracon US
