Transforming Zoe's Place Baby Hospice's digital presence

In 2022, we partnered with Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice to create a new website that better communicates its mission, supports families, and drives donations. Their old site was difficult to update, inconsistent across locations, and didn’t effectively showcase their work. After a detailed discovery phase, we developed a new architecture and user flow that unified their online presence and improved the user experience. The result is a website reflecting Zoe’s Place’s warmth and care, making it easier for families to find support and donors to contribute. Since its launch, the site has positively impacted engagement and strengthened its ability to serve the community.

In 2022, we worked with Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice, a charity that provides vital care for babies and young children with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions. Zoe’s Place needed a new website to convey its mission, better support families, and drive donations.

The existing website was not doing them any favours. It was difficult to update, inconsistent in its messaging, especially across its three separate sites, and didn’t effectively showcase the charity’s work. Zoe’s Place needed a platform that would unify its online presence, improve donor engagement, and make it easier for families to access the care and information they needed.

We started by working closely with the Zoe’s Place team to understand their challenges and goals. Through a detailed discovery phase, we identified key areas for improvement and developed a new architecture, user flow, and strategic plan to address them. The focus was on creating a clear and consistent user experience that would guide visitors to the right information during difficult and emotional times and encourage support for the charity.

The result was a website that is both elegant and approachable, reflecting the warmth and care that Zoe’s Place provides. We implemented a more robust content management system (CMS) to make updates straightforward, ensuring the charity’s message stays consistent across all pages. The improved user experience now allows families to quickly find the support they need while making it more straightforward for donors to contribute.

Since the launch, Zoe’s Place has seen a positive impact on its engagement with supporters and families. The new site has strengthened its ability to communicate its mission and values, help families feel cared for, and ultimately support its work in the community.
